Celsian Education re-accredited with the DCSF Quality Mark for Supply Teachers
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has re-accredited Celsian Education with the Quality Mark for Teacher Supply Agencies.
Celsian Education, one of the first teacher supply agencies to be awarded the Quality Mark in 2002, has successfully passed all subsequent audits and has therefore been awarded the Quality Mark on a rolling basis.
The Quality Mark was launched in July 2002 to help drive up standards for everyone in the Education sector.
The Quality Mark sets minimum standards for agencies and LEA’s to reach in areas such as:
- Recruitment and selection of staff
- Development and support of staff
- Communication with schools
- Knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in education
Director of Celsian Education, Sarah Mitchell, said
“We are really pleased to have been awarded the Quality Mark on a rolling basis. The award is recognition of the quality of service provided by Celsian Education and demonstrates our commitment to provide schools with well-qualified and highly motivated supply teachers and support staff for day-to-day, short and long term cover.”
